Episode 83: Interview with Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet

Painting by the vegan artist, Lynda Bell.
This week, I am pleased to present my recent interview with Dr. Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet: Eating For Spiritual Health and Social Harmony. Will Tuttle has given many thousands of speeches on veganism over the years, having presented in over 50 countries and in all 50 states of America. He is a former Zen Buddhist monk, and he has a PhD from the University of Berkeley in California. He has taught college courses about philosophy, religion, creativity, and humanities, and he is a composer and concert pianist.

In this interview, Will speaks about his approach to vegan ethics, outlining how animal exploitation has led to the rise of many other forms of injustice, violence, and oppression in the world. He responds to some of the common concerns that people have prior to becoming vegan and describes how the vegan movement has changed since he became a vegan more than four decades ago.
